Explanatory notes

 

1.    You will need to present a portfolio in which you can demonstrate that you have met the Learning Outcomes associated with the Business Management first year modules

 

2.    In practical terms, there will be some areas that will be easy to demonstrate, some that are blanks in your current experience and some that will need additional leaning on your part in order to supply evidence in your portfolio.  In such instances, you will need to present evidence (about 400-500 words or one page) that shows you have acquired the relevant knowledge and applied it to your work situation.

 

3.    Feel free to add additional evidence that covers similar ground to the Learning Outcomes specified above.

 

4.    To satisfy the APEL committee, you should aim for 80%-90% coverage of the range of learning outcomes.
